down by the riverside, Drammen

a spontanious shot of my daughter :iconodilie: from our sunny and funny walk along the river in Drammen yesterday.
after a few shots I discovered that the whitebalance settings on the camera were totally wrong, hence the blue tones...:ohmygod:
by the time I discovered this, she had completely lost any further interest in being my model of the day, and I had to shoot at bridges and buildings instead.... [link] [link]

still - instead of scrapping or deleting, I liked the light and spontanious feel to this and postworked the colours a little more, and VOILÀ!

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it. :bug:

Well, Drammen is my closest city now, though I live a little outside of it... It has a wonderful river promenade...
Trondheim is the past for sure... :(
